Luhnberjack provides:
- Handcrafted woodworking products, including cutting boards and charcuterie boards
- Custom engraving services
- Hardwood lumber sales
- Tree removal services in the DMV region (Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland)
Product Orders
Placing Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.
Pricing
All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product will be the price displayed at the time of order placement.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of pickup or as otherwise arranged. We accept cash and major credit cards. For custom orders or large purchases, we may require a deposit.
Handcrafted Products
Our products are handcrafted from natural wood materials. Due to the nature of wood, each piece is unique and may have variations in grain pattern, color, and texture. These natural characteristics are not defects and add to the uniqueness of each piece.
Custom Engraving
Image Requirements
For custom engraving orders, you must provide high-quality images or designs. We reserve the right to reject images that are low quality, inappropriate, or cannot be reasonably engraved.
Intellectual Property
By submitting images for engraving, you represent that you own the rights to the image or have permission to use it. You agree not to submit copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected material without proper authorization. Luhnberjack is not responsible for any intellectual property infringement resulting from customer-provided designs.
Final Approval
For custom orders, we may provide a proof or mockup for your approval before production. Once you approve the design, you accept responsibility for any errors in the provided content.
Lumber Sales
Lumber is sold as-is based on availability. Dimensions and quantities should be confirmed at the time of inquiry. All lumber comes from locally fallen trees and may have natural variations.
Tree Removal Services
Quotes and Estimates
Tree removal quotes are estimates based on the information provided and initial assessment. Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during the work.
Service Area
We provide tree removal services in the DMV region, including Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. Service availability may vary by location.
Property Access
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. You represent that you have the authority to authorize tree removal on the property.
Liability
While we take all reasonable precautions, tree removal involves inherent risks. We are not liable for damage to underground utilities, septic systems, or other hidden structures unless their location was clearly marked prior to work.
Pickup and Delivery
Most orders are available for local pickup. Delivery may be arranged for an additional fee. You are responsible for inspecting products at the time of pickup or delivery and reporting any issues immediately.
Returns and Refunds
Standard Products
If you are not satisfied with a standard product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. Products must be unused and in original condition for a refund or exchange.
Custom Orders
Custom orders, including items with personalized engraving, are final sale and cannot be returned unless there is a defect in craftsmanship.
Defects
If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately. We will repair, replace, or refund defective products at our discretion.
Product Care
Proper care is essential for the longevity of wooden products. We are not responsible for damage resulting from improper use or care, including but not limited to:
- Submerging in water or running through a dishwasher
- Exposure to extreme heat or temperature changes
- Failure to oil and maintain the product
- Using as a hot pad or trivet
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Luhnberjack and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
User Accounts
If you create an account or sign in using Google, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luhnberjack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service in question.
