Florian Luhn - Luhnberjack Owner

Meet the Luhnberjack

Luhnberjack is a small family business run by Florian Luhn - and yes, the name "Luhnberjack" is a play on his last name! With a deep love for the outdoors and working with natural materials, Florian turned a hobby into a passion.

It all started with a fallen Tulip Poplar tree in the yard. Using a chainsaw sawmill, Florian milled the lumber by hand, discovering the satisfaction of transforming raw timber into usable wood. The idea to turn this into a small business came shortly after when a beautiful Black Walnut tree came down following storm damage. Rather than letting that gorgeous wood go to waste, Florian saw an opportunity to give it new life as handcrafted cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and other woodworking projects.

Today, every piece we create carries that same spirit - taking nature's fallen gifts and crafting them into beautiful, functional items for your home.
